Transformation story:
My fitness journey never started until after I had my last baby.  I remember feeling overwhelmed lonely and uncomfortable in my own skin.  I joined the local YMCA and started attending classes regularly and realized how motivated I was, surrounded by women in all different bodies and fitness levels all there for one common goal.  I decided to sign up for a fitness competition after my cousin Heidi introduced me to the competition world.  I gave myself 1 year.  I took my fitness course I read, read, read, and soaked up all the knowledge I could regarding the body and training, and a year to the date I stepped on stage.  I placed 6th place in figure but when I was up there I realized it wasn’t about where I placed it was about setting goals and achieving them.  About learning things I loved and fitting them into my world.  I guess you could say after that the goals were endless and still are.  I completed another 17 certifications and realized the impact that fitness has in all aspects of our lives and want to always continue to pay it forward.
