Are you a trainer? If so, what is your training philosophy?
Yes, I belive in creating lasting lifestyle changes for my clients. You must have balance and enjoy the plan you’re on or there is no way to achieve long term results. I believe fully in the power of clean eating and resistance based training.  At the end of the day everyone is different and your diet and exercise plan should reflect what you enjoy, not be a cookie cutter program.

YOU MUST HAVE BALANCE AND ENJOY THE PLAN YOU’RE ON OR THERE IS NO WAY TO ACHIEVE LONG TERM RESULTS.

Who is your trainer?
I create my own diet and exercise routines based on my current goals at the time.

What makes him/her so special as a trainer?
I am always trying new methods and seeing what works best with my body to achieve the goal I am working on. I love experimenting.

Occupation details:
I am an online health coach and personal trainer specializing in helping those who struggle with weight issues regain their lives.  I work with each and every client on a personal level and create a plan for where they currently are in life. No cookie cutter programs here!

I AM AN ONLINE HEALTH COACH AND PERSONAL TRAINER SPECIALIZING IN HELPING THOSE WHO STRUGGLE WITH WEIGHT ISSUES REGAIN THEIR LIVES.

Relationship status:
In a relationship

Fitness Goals:
Oh man! I’ve got so many! Long term I want to show I can be the best of the best through getting my WBFF pro card (I am 32 now, I am shooting for pro status when I hit the 35+ category). I would like to complete a tough mudder style race and I am going to be able to do an unassisted pullup for the first time in my life. I want to show others that just because your obese doesn’t mean you can’t take your life back and do anything you set your mind to. (like be a serious bikini competitor)

Complete Bio:
I am 32 years old, originally from a small rural town in Western Kentucky. After spending over 10 years in the casino business, 4 of which I lived in the Baltimore/DC area I knew I was ment to do more to make an impact. I quit my job and moved to South Florida to start my online health coaching business.

Training Plan:
My training plan varies a lot depending on the goal at hand It almost always incorporates free weights. I am not big on dedicated cardio so I like heavy circuits to get heart rate up.

Thoughts on HIIt, Power lifting, TRX, Yoga, bodybuilding, other:
I believe they all have their place for certain people.   At the end of the day it is about loving what your doing. I honestly incorporate a little of each into my routine. I like to switch it up so that I dont get board and I am always challenging myself.

I WANT TO SHOW OTHERS THAT JUST BECAUSE YOUR OBESE DOESN’T MEAN YOU CAN’T TAKE YOUR LIFE BACK AND DO ANYTHING YOU SET YOUR MIND TO.

Nutritional & Supplements:
I typically eat clean and only include whole foods. I can’t live without my MuscleEgg! I have Celcius Heat (in case I need a jumpstart getting to the gym) and on occasion I will get some Gbutter to sneak in extra protein and some sweetness.  I also take Mary Ruths Organics morning and night multivitamin and Nordic Naturals ultimate omega daily.

Special skills?
I am extremely uncoordinated

What do your parents mean to you? What did they teach you?
I was blessed to have amazing parents that taught me so many lesson. They always worked very hard and never let anything stand in the way. I learned to never back down from a challenge. They taught me that when you fail, to use that to figure out how to succeed. I got my brutal honestly from my mother. Loosing both of them to obesity/diet related diseases drives me to help others turn their lives around.

What separates Status from other fitness magazines?
I belive Status stands out from other fitness magazines because they showcase real people with real stories. Its so much easier for the majority of the population to relate to those transformation stories and realize they too can archive the physique they want.

What would it mean to you to become the next Status Fitness Cover-model?
Wow, that would be EPIC! My mission is to help as many people as I can learn more about getting healthy and achieving their dreams. Beign on the cover of status would allow me to reach such a huge audience.

If you could ask Status Editor-In-Chief, Rodney Jang one question what would that be?

Transformation story:
The first time I remember starting a diet I was a junior in high school. I struggled with my weight from that moment on. After losing my mother to sudden cardiac arrest in 2015 at the age of 29 my weight had reached an all time high of almost 250lbs (I’m 5’6″). I was extremely unhappy and unhealthy but this was still not enough for me to really make a change. May of 2016 I had yet another sinus infection and a cough to go along with it. I remember it as clear as it was yesterday. I was standing my bathroom and began coughing. I couldn’t catch my breathe, as I gasp for air all I could think of was how scared my mom must have been in those last few moments. It was the scariest minute of my life. At the instant I knew I had to make a change. It was no longer about looking good or being skinny it was about saving my life. I started to educate myself on how to live a healthier lifestyle and implementing those practices a little at a time. Along my journey, through hard work, dedication and a lot of failures I have been about to achieve a weight loss of over 80lbs. I have 2 certifications through ACE and I am working towards furthering my knowledge of nutrition. I have my own health coaching business now and I help others see that they can take control of their lives through one on one coaching. Every person or family I can help touch brings meaning to loosing my parents so young.

I WAS EXTREMELY UNHAPPY AND UNHEALTHY BUT THIS WAS STILL NOT ENOUGH FOR ME TO REALLY MAKE A CHANGE.
