I was mentally and sexually abused as a kid. My babysitter took me to her bf’s house who she was cheating on her husband with and I would be left alone with his little brother. I didn’t realize it until recently that I started acting up as a teenager to my late 20’s due to my trauma. I didn’t trust anyone, I hated everything. I started drinking, doing drugs and getting into really bad relationships, and following the wrong crowd. It was up until my last ex-boyfriend where I decided that I deserve better and I didn’t want to live this lifestyle anymore. So I decided to turn my life around and haven’t looked back since. I began working out, eating healthy and started my wellness coaching business. I told my story on my social media and it really touched so many people when I had no idea even anyone would read it. People started empathizing and some people even told me they had similar situations happen to them and my transparency helped them talk about it. I realized I had a gift to gab and I knew I was on the right path to the life I wanted to lead.
