I was born and raised in Germany and moved to the US when I was 22 years old. I lived in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Florida before moving to Nevada. I’ve been in Nevada for about 6 years now. I was pursuing a degree in Computer Science before I found my calling as a first responder. I have no children but I have two dogs that keep me busy.
Las Vegas, NV.
Due to the nature of my job staying fit and healthy is important to me. My life or the life of others could depend on it.
My goal is to run 10 miles a week. I normally divide this into three sessions. I have a little gym with weights at my house. Ever since Covid 19, I try to work out at home as much as I can.
Nutritional & Supplements:
I do not take supplements, however, I do meal prepping. I prep my meals and freeze the meals so I’m able to eat healthy, quick dinners on a daily basis. This way, I stay away from junk food. I take videos of me prepping my recipes and upload them onto youtube (Freezerfitmeals), to share them with others.
Thoughts on HIIT, Powerlifting, TRX, Yoga, Bodybuilding, others?
I love doing group classes like HIIT or quick predetermined workouts. I’ve also done some Yoga classes. I would really love to try Yoga with goats.
I’m skilled with any home improvement project. I can lay tiles, pour cement, and even do light electrical work.
What do your parents mean to you? What did they teach you?
My parents are very important to me. My parents taught me everything while growing up, from cooking to cleaning, to how to use a hammer and saw, to how to plant food and care for pets, and how to be a good and loyal person. They taught me to never hesitate to get my hands dirty.
What separates Status from other fitness magazines?
I love how Status Magazine can be my one-stop shop for fitness-related news, training, and nutrition. I also like the approach from first-hand experiences and people I can relate to.
What would it mean to you to become the next Status Fitness Cover model?
I have never thought of myself as a fitness model. I just like being healthy, staying fit, and in turn, feeling good about myself. Being on a magazine cover is every girl’s dream, it would be awesome to show that if you are passionate about something, such as fitness, this dream could become a reality.
If you meet Status Editor-In-Chief, Rodney Jang, what question would you ask him?
Status is a huge platform that many of us read and value. Who is the person that inspired you most to create the magazine?
6 things people would not know about you:
- I own more tools than makeup.
- I gutted and remodeled my house by myself.
- I own firearms and I know how to shoot them.
- I speak two different languages.
- I eat Nutella out of 5kg buckets.
- I don’t like to wear makeup.
Who inspires you?
My dad. Because he is a hard worker that builds many businesses from the ground up. He is not scared of getting his hands dirty and he never forgets about the people that are not so fortunate in life.
Who do you wish to inspire?
I wish to inspire the little girl who believes that she must fit into the stereotype picture of a woman. I’d like to see more women succeed in male-dominated professions.
From very young, I’ve always liked eating healthy and staying active. Obviously, there have been periods in my life where I wasn’t staying as active as I wanted to but pretty soon got right back into it whether it was hitting the gym or joining friends for rock climbing sessions.
To live a healthy and to live a long life.
