I started working out in my 20’s. Lifting has always been my constant. I like to do things that are a challenge but fun. I love to Dance!

Who is your trainer?
Crissy Thibodeau is my coach. I train myself.

What makes her so special as a trainer?
What make Crissy special is the knowledge and experience that she shares. She coaches by example. If you are going to go hard, I expect my coach to go hard too and she never stops!

Can you talk about the Thibod community? What makes it so unique?
The Thibod Community is So Awesome! The friends you make, the support you get, the Fun you have Dancing with your friends during Zumba with Crissy! It is like no other gym. The Thibod Community makes the world a better place.

Occupation details:
I have been a bartender for 33 years. I tend bar at The Crab Trap, a restaurant on the beach. I clean houses and rental condos also.

Relationship details:
Married for 15 years

I LIKE PUSHING MY BODY AND WATCHING THE RESULTS.

Fitness Goals:
My fitness goal right now is to take time and work on gaining muscle.

Training Plan:
I lift 5 days a week with 5 days of cardio and 2 hot yoga classes.

Thoughts on HIIT, Power Lifting, TRX, Yoga, bodybuilding, other:
I like bodybuilding. I like pushing my body and watching the results. I love hot yoga for the mind, body, spiritual connection.

Nutritional & Supplements:
I eat the same thing every day. A combination of lean meat, veggies, fruit, carbs and protein. Basically it’s macros but the same every day. I don’t want to think about what to eat. I really believe in supplements. I feel they give me an edge to whatever goal I am working towards.

How did you use Magnum products during your shoot prep:
I used heat and carne diem during the day and before bed carne diem, afterburner and ebrake.

What are your thoughts about Magnum and which products do you use from them?
Magnum products stand above other supplements. I use carne diem, heat, afterburner, ebrake, muscle builder, Quattro and Opus

What do your parents mean to you? What did they teach you?
My Dad is Awesome! He lives a healthy lifestyle and is an inspiration to me. He has taught me to work hard and you can accomplish anything.

What separates Status from other fitness magazines?
Status Fitness magazine is a great fitness magazine because it is well rounded on articles that everyone can get something out of and I love to look at all the models and features on fitness people.

WORKING WITH WARREN WAS SO MUCH FUN! HE IS SUPER CHILL AND EASY TO WORK WITH. WARREN MAKES YOU FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE.

What would it mean to you to become the next Status Fitness Cover-model?
To be a cover model for Status Fitness magazine would be one of the biggest, coolest things I would have ever accomplished! To have a cover model my age would be amazing!

What was it like working with Warren from Healthy Vision Photography?
Working with Warren was So Much Fun! He is super chill and easy to work with. Warren makes you feel very comfortable.

I followed the Grateful Dead
I am a huge Marvel Universe geek
I travel to Australia quite a bit
I have caught an 800 lb. black marlin I am a huge sports fan
I have run two marathons

Who inspires you?
Physical or mental issues and still get out of bed every day and make the best of it and are grateful for the day.

MY TRANSFORMATION STORY IS ADAPT AND OVERCOME! AROUND 50 YOUR BODY CHANGES AND NOT FOR THE BETTER. SO I DECIDED TO KICK MENOPAUSE’S BUTT!

Who do you wish to inspire?
I wish to inspire women my age!

Transormation story:
My transformation story is Adapt and Overcome! Around 50 your body changes and not for the better. So I decided to kick menopause’s butt!

Life goals:
My life goal is to live simply and gratefully, live happy and healthy, be kind and live each day to its fullest.

5 lessons you have learned:
People that inspire me are those that struggle with life; either through
Balance
Change is constant
Patience
Prepare for the future by being in the present moment Try to do everything with Love
Always be true to yourself

Music and artists you listen to while training:
Pitbull, JLo, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars with a little Chili Peppers or Rage against the machine thrown in there.

MY LIFE GOAL IS TO LIVE SIMPLY AND GRATEFULLY, LIVE HAPPY AND HEALTHY, BE KIND AND LIVE EACH DAY TO ITS FULLEST.

Favorite actors/movies:
Favorite movies are anything in The Marvel Universe, Guy Ritchie movies and Quentin Tarantino movies. Although, my go to movies are All Pirates of the Caribbean movies, All the Oceans 11, 12 and 13 and All Transformer movies!

JK Rowling, Mitch Albom, Clive Cussler, David Baldacci, Yung Pueblo, Nora Roberts

5 Most important attributes you see in a person?
Kindness, sincerity, speaks the truth, funny and swears as much as I do.

Advice you can give to children who want to start training?
Go for it! Learn Now! Don’t wait!
