Health and Fitness Goals:
Focus on my holistic health as a whole to feel better mentally, and have fewer flare-ups with my fibromyalgia.

Why did you decide to register for Hannah’s program?
I followed Hannah for a few months before I decided to register for her program. I saw all the success and then finally joined.

How has the experience been for you?
My experience has been nothing but positive. I have been changing my story. Everything in my life has been going positive since I started and I’m getting all my ducks in a row.

What does Focused (“She is focused”) mean to you?
To stay focused means to simply persist with the task at hand. To continue to work towards whatever it is that you need to do and ensure that you stay concentrated on that one activity. It isn’t multitasking. It isn’t daydreaming. It’s focusing on the task at hand and putting in the work to get it done.

What did you do to focus on during this challenge?
I focused on my goals and positivity. I prioritized and scheduled my routine and made sure I got enough to sleep every night. I would always ground myself and focus on my surroundings. I would rematch Hannah’s motivational videos and that always helps my mindset.

What did you learn about yourself this past month?
I learned that I have a strong mind and I can do whatever I set my mind to.

What challenges did you face this past month when it came to your focus?
The only challenge I have is focusing on nutrition, it’s hard staying true to clean eating when there’s fast food all around. I really am strong-willed.

Any words of advice you would give to others considering a “focused’ program approach?
My words of advice are to post, log or write down your workouts, it helps to stay accountable and focused. Listen to your body. If you feel discouraged, communicate with your trainer or fitness community, usually, they will pump you up or give you advice on what to do. Like my great-grandpa, Senator James Gladstone’s motto is “Work hard and persevere.”

What does it mean to you to earn the recognition of the “She is FOCUSED” award spotlight?
It means so much to me. I’ve always suffered from fibromyalgia and mental health and was never an active person. This is my first ever award in any activity and I’m 31 years old. I want the fibromyalgia community to know, that being active helps with flare-ups, don’t be scared to try new things, you never know if it’s the right treatment for your body. Never doubt yourself.

What has it been like working with Hannah and the Fitclub community?
It has been a great experience and I love everyone’s enthusiasm and compassion for everyone in the community. Would definitely recommend it.

My health and fitness goals would be to nourish my body with what makes me feel the best, stay hydrated, and stay moving. My fitness goals would be to tone and feel strong 🙂

Why did you decide to register for Hannah’s program?
I decided to register for Hannah’s Program because I thought it was the best time for me to join a group of supportive women doing the same thing! Also seeing amazing results from a few girlfriends I know! Shaylee had talked about it with me a few times and it always sounded so amazing. I am so glad I took the leap.

How has the experience been for you?
The experience has been nothing but rewarding.

What does Focused (“She is focused”) mean to you?
What “She is focused” meant to me was exactly THAT 🙂 Stay focused girl. You got this. Look forward to your results

What did you do to focus on during this challenge?
What I focused on during this challenge was showing up every day to do the workout! 8. What I have learned about myself this past month, even since the beginning of January was that I am so powerful, whatever I set my mind to I can accomplish just that. Being there for yourself every day and showing up is huge.

What did you learn about yourself this past month?
The challenges I faced would be feeling guilty for the rest days….. I am so glad I have switched that mindset because you need them just as much as you do your workout days. Rest is very important.

Any words of advice you would give to others considering a “focused’ program approach?
Words of advice would be.. to show up, not for anyone but yourself. Do it for YOU.

What does it mean to you to earn the recognition of the “She is FOCUSED” award spotlight?
It is extremely rewarding to have won this spotlight. Especially with 2 months in, it makes me feel so powerful and proud!

What has it been like working with Hannah and the Fitclub community?
It has been nothing but positive/happy/rewarding vibes! All of the ladies on here seem so beautiful and powerful and I am so happy we’re all in this together! We have a kick-ass coach that we look up to daily. Your words and lives are very inspiring and you truly are so so good at what YOU DO HANNAH, THANK YOU!!!!

Improve overall feeling of “healthy” and happy.

Why did you decide to register for Hannah’s program?
I saw so much progress and success on her IG and Facebook groups it was inspiring.

How has the experience been for you?
This experience has been difficult, vulnerable, but life-changing.

What does consistency (“She is Focused”) mean to you?
Focused to me is – pushing through those days when you would normally tap out and give up!

What did you do to focus on during this challenge?
I used a buddy system – I had a few friends and family members in place that would motivate and push me when I couldn’t do it on my own.

What did you learn about yourself this past month?
Consistency pays off!

What challenges did you face this past month while doing the challenge “Focused”?
Like everyone, I feel burnout from work and well, COVID. Staying motivated has always been my greatest challenge.

Any words of advice you would give to others considering a “She is focused’ program approach?
Push through, use your support network, and believe in yourself when no one else does.

What does it mean to you to earth recognition of the “She is Focused” award spotlight?
This is incredible, I was just working so hard this past year to feel better about myself and I had no idea this was even a possibility. What an honour.

What has it been like working with Hannah and the Fitclub community?
She’s the best honestly, she knows the real-life struggles we all face, and how to keep you motivated, engaged, and excited about your fitness journey.

Health and Fitness Goals?
To lose 25-30lbs become stronger and have a moderately toned body.

How has the experience been for you?
Nothing shy of amazing!

What does Focused (“She is focused”) mean to you?
I am focused on all my body does for me. I only focus on the things I can control and let go of everything I can’t. My eyes are only focused on my journey and my path. I am focused on the best version of me.

What did you do to focus on during this challenge?
For this challenge, I mainly focused on upper body workouts and my nutrition sticking to eating properly and all my meals even my snacks.

What did you learn about yourself this past month?
I learnt that I can push myself to lift more without pain and with no regrets also that eating healthier for 6 months makes a huge difference in your perspective about eating healthy from portion size and what your body tells you when you eat crap food.

What challenges did you face this past month when it came to your focus”?
Emotional breakdowns this month. I worked out and cried happy and sad tears because I see and hear the changes I’m making. You don’t realize how much support you really have till family & friends tell you or you look in the mirror and see how far you’ve come and cry happy tears. Sometimes working out I cry sad tears and I don’t know why but mentally it’s a good thing to have a good cry sometimes helps the mindset reset.

Health goals are weight loss, improving strength, building muscles, living a healthy and active life and inspiring my children to live healthier because health = happiness.

Why did you decide to register for Hannah’s program?
I followed Hannah’s program for a couple of years on Facebook and in July 2021, I decided I needed to lose weight it was tough motivating myself but knew I needed this for ME.

How has the experience been for you?
Great experience, with great, good and bad days.

What does Focused (“She is focused”) mean to you?
She is Focused means I am focused! I am focused on me and creating the life I want for myself, focusing on my workouts and enjoying them and my nutrition (biggest struggle). Being focused means paying attention to the movements my muscles are making during the workouts and engaging them and focusing on healthier eating to fuel my body so I feel good.

What did you do to focus on during this challenge?
I focused on engaging my core during workouts, posture and breathing (I hold my breath a lot). I focused on what I fueled my body with and how I felt before and after workouts. I focused on challenging myself and doing better than the last time whether it be one more push-up or increasing weights by 1 or 2 lbs.

What did you learn about yourself this past month?
This past month I learned I am capable of so much more than I realize. I learned I can build new habits that I enjoy. I learned I’m a much happier mom when I work out and eat healthily.

What challenges did you face this past month while doing the challenge “Focused”?
Stomach issues, I have IBS and a lot of foods cause flares up and irritation leaving me with crazy symptoms. Motivation, somedays it’s so hard but the FCB provides so much, just logging in and seeing other ladies, working with everyday mom getting their workouts in and eating healthy gave me the motivation to do what I need as well.

Any words of advice you would give to others considering a “She is focused’ program approach?
My advice is to try, keep trying and build consistency. Focus on YOU and try to drown out distractions. Stay positive and patient.

What does it mean to you to earth recognition of the “She is Focused” award spotlight?
It feels good to have others see the work I’ve been consistently focusing on. I’m proud of myself and hope it inspires someone to start wherever they are at.

What has it been like working with Hannah and the Fitclub community?
Hannah is an amazing coach. She is always motivating, encouraging and just there for any questions or support. I don’t feel “stupid” asking her questions or advice ever. She truly loves what she does and it shows.
