Health and Fitness Goals
I have been overweight for most of my adult life and just want to be at a healthy weight. I have set my first goal to be a size 12. Once I reach that goal, I will determine a new goal based on muscle development and strength.
Why did you decide to register for Hannah’s program?
After seeing the results that my friends were having, I decided that it was something that I could do too.
How has the experience been for you?
The experience has been great! I love the meal plans and recipe library. There is so much variety and flexibility in the food that I will never get bored with my meals. The workouts have videos to follow along with, which really helps a newcomer like me to learn the proper form.
What does consistency (“She is consistent”) mean to you?
For me, consistency just means creating new habits that are going to benefit my health journey and eliminating habits that aren’t benefiting my goal.
What did you do to focus on consistency during this challenge?
I tracked my food and water intake every day.
What did you learn about yourself this past month?
I learned that if I put my mind to something and make it my focus, I can accomplish anything.
What challenges did you face this past month while focusing on “consistency”?
My biggest challenge was working out the five days a week that I committed to. As I have not been an active person for many years, I really had to talk myself into completing my workouts every day. I also had the FitClub community keeping me accountable, which helped tremendously.
Any words of advice you would give to others considering a “consistency’ program approach?
My biggest piece of advice is that you don’t need to make big changes. Small consistent changes over time will lead to big results.
What does it mean to you to earn the recognition of the “She is Consistent” award spotlight?
This recognition means a lot to me. It shows me that I have been successful in my changes so far and it motivates me even more to continue my journey.
What has it been like working with Hannah and the Fitclub community?
Hannah and the FitClub community have been very supportive and encouraging. This team keeps me focused, accountable and motivated to stay on track.

I just want to see where I can go. The sky is the limit!
Why did you decide to register for Hannah’s program?
I wanted to like myself again. I was struggling during my divorce and I needed somewhere to put my energy and hurt, to be honest. Hannah’s program offered me someplace to put my focus and guidance on how to get where I wanted to go.
How has the experience been for you?
The experience of working out with Hannah has been truly life-changing. I started out unsure if this was going to be a good fit for me. I didn’t feel like I could do anything let alone get in shape. Hannah’s coaching, encouragement, and sometimes even “tough” love really changed the game for me. In the beginning, Hannah encouraged me to take my pictures and when I did I wanted to crawl in a hole and never come out. She told me to just start with the workouts and then add in parts of her program when I had gotten one part consistent.
I really appreciated her reminding me that I wasn’t doing a quick fix and that this was a whole change of lifestyle. I started to feel more confident and more capable. I kept taking progress photos and week to week, I didn’t see changes but I remember when Hannah showed me my photos a few months apart and I was blown away by my progress. Having someone there to cheer me on when it felt like I wasn’t going anywhere, was so awesome. Working on mindset has also been huge for me in this experience, I’m not the same person who signed up 2 years ago. I like myself and my life looks so different.
I’ve also learned so much about nutrition and training. Before Hannah, I didn’t know anything about Macros or really what balance meal planning looked like. Prior to starting with Hannah, I used to run and do so much cardio – I hated it and I wasn’t getting anywhere. I was worried that adding weight training would make me bulk up and just get heavier (it didn’t and I love weight training). I also learned I wasn’t eating nearly enough protein. I started following her meal plans which just made life SO MUCH SIMPLER. The food tastes good (I even make it when I have company) and I don’t have to think about what I am making for dinner.
Fast forward to now and I have been at this for almost 2 years and I am now able to encourage other women to just do one little thing at a time. I look forward to what the future brings!
What does consistency (“She is consistent”) mean to you?
Consistency to me means just showing up every day. Show up for yourself and honour the time you are given by doing the hard things even when you don’t feel like it.
What did you do to focus on consistency during this challenge?
During the consistency challenge, I focused on just getting 5 workouts in a week. I need those workouts for my own mental health. That meant I had to schedule them in and prioritize getting them done.
What did you learn about yourself this past month?
My mental health requires me to maintain my physical health. It sounds silly but just getting all 5 workouts in really made a huge difference for me in my mindset and emotional wellbeing.
What challenges did you face this past month while focusing on “consistency.”
Time management was probably the biggest challenge for me. I had to make sure I scheduled my workouts around my life and pushed through when I was tired after work and bedtime. They were “booked” so in my mind I had made a commitment to just do them. Sometimes after a heavy or mentally fatiguing day at work, I didn’t feel like working out so I’d just start with the warm-up and then eventually end up finishing.
Any words of advice you would give to others considering a “consistency’ program approach?
I would say just start. You don’t have to start big and change everything at once. Just pick one thing (I started with 3 workouts a week) and be consistent in that one thing. Once you are comfortable and consistent with one thing, add another change in meal planning, a more intense program, whatever.
What does it mean to you to earn the recognition of the “She is Consistent” award spotlight?
Honestly, when I got the email saying I was being recognized, I almost cried. It is nice to be seen and be able to hopefully encourage someone else with my story and the ups and downs of my own journey.
What has it been like working with Hannah and the Fitclub community?
I absolutely love working with Hannah and the Fitclub community. Hannah is the most beautiful soul, she cares so much about her people and really wants to help everyone succeed. The Fitclub community is really incredible, women build each other up and are always available to support one another be it with answering questions or anything. Hannah and the community all work really well together to help everyone towards a journey of success. It isn’t a competition but a community that wants everyone to succeed and grow.

Working with Hannah and being a part of the fit club community has been life-changing, if it wasn’t for her & the ladies I don’t know if I ever would have stayed the course. They are so supportive and encouraging.
Every day after our workouts we post our sweaty selfies and cheer each other on. I have a saying “do It for the selfie” because if I work out and take my selfie the ladies will make you feel so good for getting it done, and that alone is worth it.
