Marisa Hope shares her thoughts on joining the Status team
This opportunity has been one of my biggest dreams since I started my fitness journey at the age of 17 years old. I have always dreamed about being featured in a magazine, let alone having my own expert column, so this is a real “pinch me” moment! I know that all the hardships and struggles I’ve personally been through have led me to become the person I am today so I am very thankful that all my experiences have allowed me to share a message that I believe more women need to hear. I am incredibly honoured and grateful for this chance to voice my perspective and ideas around what true nourishment looks like and hopefully impact more lives in a positive way. I want women to grow, evolve and thrive beside me and around me so I will always be dedicated to building an empire of confident and resilient women so that we can ALL win. There is room for everyone at the table, and we need to start taking up the space we deserve and are worthy of.

This publication is a powerful resource for anyone looking to gain insight, confidence and inspiration within their own fitness and health journey. It’s encouraging to see a publication of this volume and importance take a more holistic approach in certain areas of their content as I believe this area of true health and longevity is an increasingly meaningful topic that needs to be shared more often.

Marisa Hope shares her plan on bringing to the team and audience
My goal and desire for this opportunity are to provide more insight and meaning towards the area of nourishment, self-love and long-term enjoyment within your health and fitness goals. I believe in helping women ditch diet culture so that they can free themselves of restrictive eating, food rules and guilt around food and their own bodies. I hope to shed more light and knowledge around why it’s so important to give our bodies the nourishment it needs, as well as the movement, rest, self-love and kindness it deserves. We were not put on this earth to be our smallest selves and fight against our own bodies our whole lives, we can take back our power by understanding how to create lifestyles and habits that benefit us and add to our lives, instead of just constantly trying to shrink ourselves. Empowered, strong and confident women fuel their bodies every day and know that they are worthy of all that they desire no matter what their body looks like. I hope to help more women shift their focus away from their weight and the diet industry pressures, and give them the chance to fall in love with themselves again, and know they can conquer anything they put their minds to!
