What separates Status from other fitness magazines?
The fact that Status reached out to the everyday women to feature their accomplishments and the opportunity for us to be featured in this magazine sets you apart from everyone else because we all share the same fitness passion.
If you could ask Status Editor-In-Chief, Rodney Jang one question what would that be?
I would ask where his inspiration for this magazine came from before it was reality.
What was it like working with Warren from Healthy Vision Photography?
Warren is my absolute favourite. He was so easy and fun to work with and made my 6-year-old son feel so special as he agreed to shoot several pictures of just him to help him feel comfortable in front of the lens. He made me laugh and was a pleasure to work with.

Who inspires you?
Who do you wish to inspire?
I joined Babe Cave in early October 2018. I began with Kangoo classes once or twice a week. In the middle of January 2019, I began attending three times a week. In March of 2019, I started to eat according to the Babe Cave meal plan and incorporated strength classes into my weekly routine. I have lost 25lbs and I am excited to see where my fitness journey will be in a year from now.
Why did you start your transformation and what keeps you going?
I joined Babe Cave because the Jean’s that I purchased that were on clearance (that I figured I would need a belt for because they were a size big) actually turned out to be skin tight on me. I realized then that I would refuse to buy any larger-sized clothing, and instead, I chose to shrink my current size. My children and my husband keep me motivated and encourage me to continue on in my journey as we all enjoy cooking and bake together low-calorie and low sugar meals.
How do you keep yourself motivated to stay on track when you start to slip?
I post old pictures of myself in pain view and on the fridge so I get a reminder when I feel I want to slip into old habits.
To become an entrepreneur and live a life according to my rules and have the freedom to spend more time with family and friends.
Lessons you have learned:
It is very important to be grateful for every day because there is beauty in every single moment of every day; you just need to slow down and pay attention.

Advice you can give to people who want to start training?
Set your goals before you start. Try to imagine yourself in the mirror looking exactly as you strive to look and envision a healthier you before you start. Create realistic goals and stick to them and reward yourself along the way.
