Bio:
I am a wife to a retired Military officer and a mother to a very busy 12-year-old, who keeps me on the go with her many activities. Seven years ago, I was embarking on my fitness journey teaching Zumba® 3 days a week as well as working full time. At the age of 29, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Throughout treatment, as my day-to-day health allowed, I continued to take Zumba® classes and after treatment, even certified in PiYo. I found myself in the best shape of my life. One month shy of my 3-year “cancer free” anniversary I learned my cancer was back. I was devastated. Since that time, I have struggled to keep any consistency in my approach to fitness. Then six months ago, a close friend introduced me to Crissy at Thi Bod Fitness, where I learned she was offering coaching and mentoring. With Crissy and Joe’s expertise and my family’s support, I decided to jump all in. It truly is an amazing feeling to get back in the gym and feeling good about myself again, I hope my story will inspire not only other cancer warriors and survivors but busy moms and wives as well. I also hope to continue to be a positive, healthy influence for my family.

Cardio (Zumba®, rowing, and running) 5 days a week and weight training 5 days a week as well as accounting for my macros as directed by Crissy.
