IT TRULY IS AN AMAZING FEELING TO GET BACK IN THE GYM AND FEELING GOOD ABOUT MYSELF AGAIN,  I HOPE MY STORY WILL INSPIRE NOT ONLY OTHER CANCER WARRIORS AND SURVIVORS BUT BUSY MOMS AND WIVES AS WELL.

Who is your trainer?
Chrissy Tibodeau

What makes him/her so special as a trainer?
Crissy is an absolute gem.  She is down-to-earth and very positive.  She is a true coach who understands my strengths and weaknesses in a way that allows her to know what motivation I need.

Occupation details:
Real Estate Agent.

Relationship status:
Married

Fitness Goals:
To push myself to the limit to see what is in the art of the possible.

Bio:
I am a wife to a retired Military officer and a mother to a very busy 12-year-old, who keeps me on the go with her many activities.  Seven years ago, I  was embarking on my fitness journey teaching Zumba® 3 days a week as well as working full time.  At the age of 29, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Throughout treatment, as my day-to-day health allowed, I continued to take Zumba® classes and after treatment, even certified in PiYo.  I found myself in the best shape of my life.  One month shy of my 3-year “cancer free” anniversary I learned my cancer was back.  I was devastated.  Since that time, I have struggled to keep any consistency in my approach to fitness.  Then six months ago, a close friend introduced me to Crissy at Thi Bod Fitness, where I learned she was offering coaching and mentoring.  With Crissy and Joe’s expertise and my family’s support, I decided to jump all in.  It truly is an amazing feeling to get back in the gym and feeling good about myself again,  I hope my story will inspire not only other cancer warriors and survivors but busy moms and wives as well.  I also hope to continue to be a positive, healthy influence for my family.

Training Plan:
Cardio (Zumba®, rowing, and running) 5 days a week and weight training 5 days a week as well as accounting for my macros as directed by Crissy.

Thoughts on HIIT, Powerlifting, TRX, Yoga, bodybuilding, other:
I feel that weight training changed my body physically, but collectively with Zumba® and yoga, I maximize my results.  Everybody is different, you have to find the workout plan that you can do consistently.

My parents are AMAZING!  My dad instilled in me to not give up and that I am capable of what I put my mind to.  My sweet mom taught me how to take care of the people I love.
